"Aeroflot - Russian Airlines" summarized the result of the activities of the company for March and first three months of 2006.
In March 2006 the aviation company served 489,6 thousand of passengers (including 3.9 thousand by charter flights) and 13.5 thousand tones of mail and cargo loads. The company accomplished 1 billion 542 million of passenger/kilometers and 223.4 million of tones/kilometers.
In March the percentage of commercial load was 58.6 %, which is by 1.1 % higher than in the last year. Percentage of the use of passengers' seats is 67.4 %.
In comparison with the similar period of the previous year the volume of works increased and comprised: for passengers' turnover - 100.6 % (8.6 million passenger/kilometers), for passengers' transportation - 103.2 % (+15.1 thousand passengers), for tones/kilometers - 102.5 % (5.4 million tones/kilometers), for mail transportation - 104.8 % (18.6 tones), for cargo loads transportation - 97.2 % (- 378.0 tones).
For three months of 2006 Aeroflot served 1 million 382 thousand of passengers and 31.7 thousand tones of mail and cargo loads, accomplished 4 billion 401 million of passengers/kilometers and 594.5 million of tones/kilometers.
Percentage of the use of the passengers' seats was 66.4 %, which is 1.3 % higher than for the previous year. Percentage of commercial load is 56.0 %.
In comparison with 2005 the volumes of work were a little beat lower with regard to some parameters: for passengers' turnover - 98.1 % (-87.1 million tones/kilometer), for passengers' transportation parameter – 100.8 % (+11.0 thousand passengers), for tones/kilometers parameter - 98.2 % (-10.8 million tones/kilometers), for mail transportation parameter - 95.9 % (-47.2 tones). for cargo loads transportation - 91.5 % (-2864.8 tones).
Generally, for the entire aircraft fleet the time in service hours practically remains on the same level as in 2005 (+231 hours or 0.4 %).
