Valeriy Okulov to helm the Russian-Emirate Business Committee (REBC)

Following voting in the organizational session of the Russian part of the Russian-Emirate Business Committee (REBC) in the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TPP RF), CEO of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, JSC Valeriy Okulov was elected co-chairman of REBC to represent the Russian part.

The Committee does not have the status of a legal person; it acts as a public organization and comprises a number of Russian businesses and organizations. REBC was created to develop and ensure business relations between entrepreneurs from Russia and the UAE interested in strong cooperation in trade, industry, finance and science & research.

Russian part of the Russian-Emirate Business Committee was formed on initiative by the Russian-Arabic Business Committee (RABC) and TPP RF.

Introducing Valeriy Okulov to the members attending the session, co-chairman of RADS Vladimir Yevtushenkov emphasized that “the choice of the Aeroflot’s CEO as candidate is really lucky. With air transportation business and tourism proving to be dynamically developing areas of cooperation between Russia and the UAE, Valeriy Okulov also has a wealth of experience as professional manager with capabilities and understanding to establish good business, and friendly human relations with our colleagues from the Emirates”.
