Aeroflot provides help to families of the air crash victims and the crew of the collapsed aircraft

The team and executives of Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, JSC express their sincere condolence with regard to the catastrophe of the A230 aircraft of Armavia on route Yerevan - Sochi.

Center for Crises and Malfunctions at Aeroflot in coordination with the Company’s offices in Yerevan and Sochi is providing instructions and organizational assistance to Armavia in its communication with families and friends of the victims.

Currently Aeroflot operates seven А320 aircrafts built in Airbus production facilities in 2003-2004. According to the results of 2005, A320 proved to be safest in the company’s fleet in terms of operation and accuracy of on-board control systems, and demonstrated the least number of delays resulting from technical failures.

Additionally, А320 aircrafts are reliable and efficient in terms of elimination of weak points and technical troubles.
