From February 07, 2007 Aeroflot initiates regular flights on the route Sochi – Frankfurt – Sochi.
Winter Flights on the route will be performed once per week on Wednesdays:
- flight SU103 Sochi (Adler) – Frankfurt – departure from Adler at 11:50 a.m., arrival at Frankfurt am Main at 01:35 p.m.;
- flight SU104 Frankfurt – Sochi (Adler) – departure from Frankfurt at 03:00 p.m., arrival at Adler at 08:35 p.m. (local time).
Summer Flights on the route will be performed once per week on Tuesdays:
Sochi (Adler) - departure at 03.20 (local time), arrival at Frankfurt am Main at 05.05 (local time).
Frankfurt-am-Main - departure at 06.05 (local time), arrival at Sochi (Adler) at 11.40 (local time).
Opening of the regular air communication between Sochi and Frankfurt will make it possible to connect the actively developing resort with the largest transportation hub of Europe, which will imply the increase of tourist traffic to the Black Sea coast of the country, secure the growth of investments into this region, and enhance the Europeans’ interest in the South of Russia. Moreover, opening of the new flight will contribute to the success of the Sochi’s application for participation in Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games 2014.
The new route will supplement the two existing daily Aeroflot flights Moscow – Sochi – Moscow. Moreover, since January 15, 2007, Aeroflot subsidiary “Aeroflot – Don” initiated regular flights from Sochi to Istanbul and Dubai.
