April 3rd, 2008, Moscow. – On April 24th, 2008 at, 12:00 noon JSC Aeroflot - Russian Airlines will conduct its second Internet Conference entitled «Aeroflot’s Online Booking System».
Alexey Sidorov, the commercial director of Aeroflot, will answer questions regarding the online service of e-ticket booking and payment via Aeroflot’s website www.aeroflot.ru , as well as issues concerning the airport self-service check-in.
The first Internet Conference «Improvement of Aeroflot’s Online Booking System» took place on September 12th, 2007. It was joined by an audience of over 5000 visitors. In its course 175 users had 187 questions related to e-tickets, online booking and payment as well as the self-service check-in at the airport. 52 questions were answered online, responses to the rest of the questions were sent personally to customers per e-mail.
Based on proposals and wishes expressed by passengers during the first Internet Conference, Aeroflot introduced certain improvements in its internal technologies.
According to Aeroflot’s commercial director Alexey Sidorov, this communication format is highly efficient today as it is useful to the passengers and the airline’s personnel.
Having studied the results of the first conference, we were able to take all the feedback we received from our customers regarding the improvements of our online booking system into account and eliminate current deficiencies.
