19 October 2019, Moscow. - Due to protest rallies and strikes in Lebanon limitations on Beirut's transport system are likely. Currently, all roads leading to the Republic's capital are blocked including those leading to Beirut International Airport. Security has been reinforced at the airport.
We advise passengers to carefully choose ways to get to the airport as well as arriving early for check in, at least 3 hours before departure to allow sufficient time for preflight procedures.
Passengers booked on flights from/to Beirut between 19 and 21 October 2019 are eligible (fee-free) to:
- rebook for another SU flight on the same route within 7 days from the original departure date with a simultaneous change of return to match the length of stay (plus/minus 3 days);
- receive a refund at the point of sale of ticket.
Passengers are being informed via Aeroflot's contact centre.
