Aeroflot expands its range of children’s activity packs with amenity kits for infants

4 September 2019, Moscow. – Aeroflot has expanded its range of children's amenity kits now available to even its baby passengers starting 3 July 2019. Kits comprised of a handy bag, a colourful soft toy book, an age-appropriate soft toy puzzle, and a pack of hypoallergenic wet wipes are designed for kids under two years old.

Children’s kits are available on all flights in all service classes. Aeroflot now offers activity packs for children of all age groups: 0-2 years old, 3-6 years old and 7-11 years old. The baby amenity kit was designed to meet passengers’ wishes and requirements based on the children’s focus groups’ findings.

In addition to amenity kits with toys children can enjoy an entertainment channel featuring movies, music, cartoons and games. Passengers travelling with preschool aged kids can receive their meals at any convenient time on flights of more than three hours. They should approach the flight-attendant prior to start of cabin service.

On top of free baggage allowance, Aeroflot provides an opportunity to carry free of charge a baby stroller weighing up to 20 kg if this is used by the passenger, or a child safety seat for use on board if there is a separate seat for the child.

The airline allocates cots for infants under the age of one year and weighing no more than 11 kg. Cots are available on aircraft fitted with baby cot positions. The amenity should be booked at least 36 hours before the scheduled departure time.

The high level of Aeroflot service for children has been recognized by passengers and experts alike. In 2017, Aeroflot was named best Russian airline for children according to Aviasales travel search site rating, which polled five thousand passengers. This year, Aeroflot has won five nominations of prestigious Skyway Service Award, including “Best service for passengers with children and passengers with disabilities”.
