SU103, delayed on 5 January by adverse weather conditions, took off from New York’s John F. Kennedy airport (JFK) without luggage, and is scheduled to arrive in Moscow at 20:10 (local time). Aeroflot expects that flight SU123 will also take off without luggage, and is currently waiting for a confirmation of the flight’s new departure time from the airport. Taking off without luggage was an enforced measure, as baggage systems at JFK are temporarily not functioning.
All baggage will be delivered to Moscow on later flights.
On arrival in Moscow passengers should contact the lost and found baggage service, complete the relevant forms and be given a reference number before leaving the arrivals zone. Aeroflot is preparing relevant documentation ahead of time in order to minimise delays for passengers at the airport. Luggage will be delivered to the address indicated as soon as it arrives.
