Moscow, 3 June 2016. – PJSC Aeroflot has introduced a new on-board menu for business-class passengers, with dishes from internationally renowned chefs.
The new menu reflects Aeroflot’s focus on the quality and variety of food served on board and the airline’s belief in the importance of a healthy and balanced diet. Contributing chefs offer passengers a range of exciting and innovative dishes.
Christian Lorenzi, brand-chef for the Ginza Project restaurant group, caters to the most demanding of tastes with signature dishes based on family recipes. Staying true to his Tuscan roots, Lorenzini’s new menu is full of original signature dishes, such as veal cheeks with polenta and broccoli in a meat sauce.
William Lamberti, founder of Uilliam’s in Moscow and like Christian a Ginza Project fixture, trained in Italy and has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants. His dishes include Chilean sea bass marinated in honey, with pak choi, courgette and celery, and orange sauce.
Kamal Benmamar, a favourite with Aeroflot passengers and chef at No Fish restaurant in Moscow, presents cod in a mushroom sauce and a medley of beans in addition to roast chicken with wild rice, beans and mushrooms then, to round off the meal, an exquisite, light Tiramisu.
Maestro Thierry Mona, LSG Sky Chefs Head Chef, with more than 30 years of experience to his name, gives passengers the unique opportunity to discover new unforgettable flavours with a green buckwheat risotto accompanied by roasted mushrooms and herbs or vanilla ice cream with almonds and chocolate chips.
Aeroflot also plans to introduce “Encore!”, a new series of dishes based on innovative crowdsourced research by Aeroflot Food to identify business class passengers’ culinary preferences from social media posts dating back to 2009. Dishes from the list of winners in seven different food categories will be re-introduced to the menu in the near future.
