Aeroflot performance in 11 months


December 22 2009, Moscow. – JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has summarized its results for the November and eleven months of 2009.

In November 2009, the company carried 720.5 thousand passengers (including 1.6 thousand by charter), and performed 2 billion 172 million passenger kilometers.

In November, work volume in terms of passenger traffic was 104.0% compared to the level of 2008. Passenger load factor in November exceeded the previous year level by 1.8% and amounted to 69.7%.

In the eleven months of 2009, Aeroflot carried 8.015 million passengers and performed 23 billion 762 million passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor amounted to 69.5%, revenue load, 55.8%. 

AEROFLOT  is Russia’s leading air carrier, member of the global SkyTeam alliance. Its consolidated route network covers 856 destinations in 169 countries. The company accounts for over 42% of Russia’s regular international traffic. In 2008, Aeroflot carried 9.3 million passengers, with its subsidiaries, 11.6 million.
