December 12, 2014, Moscow. — Aeroflot was recognized as a company with the most active innovations of the year in the Transport and Engineering category according to the experts of the Time Of Innovations award committee. The award ceremony celebrating achievements in the field of innovations was held yesterday in the Congress haul «Technopolis Moscow».
Aeroflot received the award for its innovative development program considering a system of measures and basic mechanisms of their implementation as a potential opportunity to overcome barriers and constraints helping to optimize innovation processes both on corporate and industry level. In particular experts have noted a premium unique design created by scientists from Burnazyan Medical Biophysical Center in accordance with Aeroflot request. The developed Hardware and software complex (PAK) is intended for recording and analysis of physiological indicators of Aeroflot sniffer dogs and helps to enhance the objectivity of the study. The results have already found a practical application in the aviation security.

The main goal of the award is to identify and motivate projects and practices promoting and implementing innovative technologies. Competitive selection was carried out in the following categories: regularity and activity, scale and efficiency, importance of innovation.
