November 24 2014, Moscow. — According to XVII Annual Report Awards organized by JSC «Moscow Exchange» and media-group «RCB» Aeroflot was in the announced as the winner in the category «Best Annual Report of the Company with the market capitalization of 10 to 100 billion rubles».
Plenty of annual reports of the major Russian and foreign companies operating practically in all sectors of the economy were examined during the contest.
The jury consisted of 16 experts including representatives of consulting, investment and management companies, information and communication agencies, the Bank of Russia, professional associations and social organizations. Aeroflot’s victory in the Annual Reports contest reveals high standards of disclosure practices and investor relations of the Company.
Earlier in 2013 Aeroflot received the highest award — platinum medal — in Vision Awards 2013 organized by the League of American Communications Professionals («LACP») in the category «Transport and Logistics — Airline and Railway Companies».
Annual Reports Award has been held since 1998 and is one of the most significant events in the Investor Relations sphere in Russia. The main goal of this event is to maintain a high level of transparency of the company and to promote effective disclosure of information to investors and customers.
