July 6, 2010, Moscow – OJSC “Aeroflot - Russian Airlines” has selected the dishes that will be offered to business-class passengers from 1 August to 30 November 2010.
In cooperation with ZAO “Aeromar”, Aeroflot presents a new menu for business-class passengers every four months. The company’s taskforce commission, partners, and specialists tasted a selection of new appetizers, soups, main courses prepared from meat, fish, and poultry with toppings, and desserts. The appetizers and main courses offered for tasting were cooked from new delicious ingredients such as cold-smoked Siberian nelma fish and cisco, hot-smoked Norwegian salmon with paprika, parsley, and sesame, boiled-and-smoked turkey, assorted premium quality bread, Mediterranean sea bass and dorado, carré of lamb and Brazilian sirloin steak. Over 60 dishes have been chosen.
Passengers will be offered a variety of dishes cooked by Johan Strom, Swedish chef of LSG SkyChefs. The selection includes beef accompanied by creamy polenta and Parmesan cheese and a topping of carrots, broccoli, and mixture of champignons and shitake mushrooms; chicken breast accompanied by goat cheese and marmalade made of red onion and “Port Jus” sauce with Thai rice, pepper, and sweet peas; “Rafaello” fancy cake with almonds and pineapple; vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate chips and broken hazelnuts, and much, much more.
