May 24 2010, Moscow. – JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has revised its performance in the April and four months of 2010.
In April 2010, the company carried 794.1 thousand passengers (including 0.2 thousand by charter), and performed 2,491 million passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor in April was 76.0%, which is 14.2% up from the previous year. Revenues load was 64.5%, which is 13.7% higher than a year ago.
Compared to 2009, volumes of work in April grew in every respect: by 27.4% in passenger traffic (+171.0 thousand passengers), by 38.6% in passenger turnover (+693.9 million passenger kilometers). Passenger traffic volume on international lines grew by 31.8% (+119.0 thousand passengers.), on domestic lines by 20.9% (+52.0 thousand passengers).
In four months of 2010, Aeroflot carried 3,137 thousand passengers, and performed 9,729 million passenger kilometers. Passenger load factor was 73.7%, which is 12.3% up from the previous year’s level. Revenue load reached 60.5%, - 11.6% higher than a year ago.
Compared to 2009, work volumes in the four months increased: by 30.8% in passenger traffic (+738.3 thousand passengers), by 35.4% in passenger turnover (+2542.7 million passenger kilometers).
