Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM ) has summarized the results of its survey on criteria by which Russians choose an employer and the companies that best meet them. Aeroflot took the third place in the list of state-owned companies whose main activity is the provision of services to the population. The airline has strengthened its position in the ranking of the best employers in Russia compared to the results of a similar poll in 2012 — up from the eighth to the third place.
The poll was conducted in September 2013 among 1000 people of working age (18-55 years) living in cities with more than 100,000 people.
Aeroflot is the industry leading taxpayer and employer offering over 16,000 jobs in Russia and abroad. The airline is consistently committed to socially responsible policy towards its employees, including competitive salary supplemented by significant social benefits.
