Invaluable cargoes are intrusted to Aeroflot

October, 6th, 2005, Moscow. - Today two unusual and valuable for the country cargoes will be sent to Tokyo by the Aeroflot flight SU-943.

Onboard the cargo plane DC-10 a part of a collection of pictures from A. S. Pushkin State museum of fine arts will go to the capital of Japan. Aeroflot, in particular, will deliver to the exhibition a masterpiece of the impressionist Paul Cesan "A Bridge above the pond", pictures of Paul Gauguin, painted by him in Oceania, Pablo Picasso's known canvas "Friendship", and also the works of Anri Matisse "Red small fish" and "the Bouquet of flowers in a white vase". The addressee of the cargo is Japanese firm Asahi Shimbun. The collection will be shown at the exhibition of fine arts in Fukuoka Exhibition city centre during six months. According to the experts and the senders, this collection is invaluable.

Besides the plane will transport to the country of a rising sun the sample of Russian "space shuttle" - a piloted returned space vehicle of a space-rocket complex "Almaz" which has been presented recently as an exhibit in the air show Max-2005 in the town of Zhukovsky. The sender of this valuable cargo - the Federal state unitary enterprise "NPO Mechanical engineering" (Reutov). Russian space vehicle goes for demonstration to the 56-th International congress on astronautics.

The fact of participation of Aeroflot in transportation of cargoes so significant for the state testifies to a high level of trust to the national carrier.
