December 25 2009. In the period of December 26-28, as part of the Sheremetyevo Terminal D test operation, JSC Aeroflot and its subsidiary Nordavia will transfer to the new terminal 15 regular flights to 10 destinations. The total number of flights moved to Terminal D by Aeroflot and its subsidiaries will reach 70.
From December 26 2009, the following flights will be operated from Terminal D: Moscow – Anapa - Moscow (5N701/702), Moscow – Novosibirsk – Moscow (SU807/808, SU809/810, 5N805/806), Moscow – Perm – Moscow (SU811/812), Moscow – Omsk – Moscow (SU817/818), and Moscow – Syktyvkar – Moscow (5N501/502).
From December 27 2009, the following flights will be operated from Terminal D: Moscow – Arkhangelsk – Moscow (5N119/117, 5N118/115, 5N116/120), and Moscow – Murmansk – Moscow (5N521/522, 5N555/556).
From December 28 2009, the following flights will be operated from Terminal D Moscow – Kemerovo – Moscow (SU761/762), Moscow – Tyumen – Moscow (SU885/886), and Moscow – Naryan-Mar – Moscow (5N311/312). All the flights will be performed in strict accordance with the current schedule.
At the moment, 55 flights are operated from Terminal D:

From December 28, the total number of flights moved by Aeroflot and its subsidiaries to Terminal D will reach 70.
The test operation implies Terminal D will be operating at first Aeroflot’s domestic and later, international flights, which will allow the company to ensure smooth interaction between of all of the carrier and Terminal’s services, government authorities and the airport in general. Terminal D will become Aeroflot’s base. The new terminal will be home to almost all Aeroflot’s flights, both domestic and international, as well as the flights by SkyTeam members and partner carriers.
Terminal D will provide passengers with servicing level satisfying the highest international standards. The terminal will be able to handle 12 million passengers a year, practically doubling the throughput capacity of Sheremetyevo.
Terminal D is the best airport terminal on the post-Soviet territory and in the Eastern Europe. The Terminal has already become a laureate of ‘ARX Awards’, an independent award in the sphere of the Russian architecture and development: the original architectural solution won in the nomination ‘Best Transport Infrastructure Object’.
