What does Croatia offer travellers? Clean air, clear seas, beautiful beaches surrounded by tall pines,  two dozen mineral springs and even a medicinal crude oil spa. What does that mean? It means we’re going!

What’s more, Croatia is one of the world’s sunniest countries, and the weather is pleasant throughout the year. In winter, the temperature doesn’t often fall below zero in the mountains, and stays at about +8°C at the seaside. The summers are hot and dry: about +30°C by the sea, but of course cooler in the mountains. The perfect time to visit Croatia is spring or autumn, when the sea is already (or still) warm, and there aren’t as many tourists as in summer.

The country’s main wonders are natural: rivers, mountains, pine forests, lakes and waterfalls. The list of architectural landmarks is also impressive. Human-made masterpieces are something you’ll want to return for, but the beautiful Adriatic coast will entice you back, too, since you’ll never find better air than in a pine forest by the seaside.

The easiest way to get to Croatia is to fly. Aeroflot operates direct flights from Moscow to Zagreb and to Split (duration: about 3 hours). In Zagreb, the flights arrive at Zagreb Airport, which is only 10km from the city centre; Split Airport is located 24km from the city.

For the best deals, look for round-trip tickets. Please note that the cheapest fares sell out quickly, so we recommend booking in advance.
