|Deputy General Director and Commander of Flight Operations
Born in Orsk, Orenburg region, in 1957.
Graduated with honours from Aktyubinsk Higher Academy of Civil Aviation in 1979. Upon finishing the vocational school, he assumed the position of Tu-134 pilot at the Syktyvkar aviation enterprise.
He began working at Aeroflot (then the Central Administration of International Air Services) in 1983. He has experience flying Tu-134, Il-86, Airbus A310, and A320 aircraft. He has been flying A330 since 2008.
He has amassed a total of over 14 thousand hours of flying experience. 2003 to 2008 — A320 Aircraft Division Director, flight team, Aeroflot PJSC.
2008 to 2010 — A330 Aircraft Division Director.
Mr Chalik has been awarded the Medal In Commemoration of the 850th Anniversary of Moscow, and the Commemorative Badge for the 85th Anniversary of Civil Aviation.
He assumed his current position in July 2011.
He has been awarded the title of Honoured Pilot of the Russian Federation, the Nesterov Medal, and a number of other awards from various ministries and departments.

From 2008 to 2009, he worked as Project Manager at the State Corporation Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs
From 2009 to 2018, he served as both Deputy Director and Director of the Corporate Finance Department at Aeroflot PJSC.
In September 2018, he was appointed Deputy General Director of Aeroflot PJSC for Commerce and Finance.
Mr Chikhankin received a Certificate of Acknowledgement from the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.
