Moscow, 24 April 2017 – Aeroflot reminds passengers planning to visit Russia for this summer’s Confederations Cup to apply for their FAN ID well ahead of the tournament.
FAN ID is the official personal document and is mandatory for all spectators at matches of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017. For non-Russian citizens, FAN ID gives the right to enter the country without having to apply for a visa for a period ten days either side of the tournament.
FAN ID can be obtained for free following the purchase of match tickets by completing an on-line registration form at www.fan-id.ru Together, FAN ID and a match ticket guarantee spectators easy and swift access to the stadium. More details can be found on the FAN ID website.
The Confederations Cup is a traditional curtain-raiser held the year before each FIFA World Cup. This year’s event runs from 17 June to 2 July in four Russian cities: Moscow, Kazan, St Petersburg and Sochi.
