Aeroflot reduces rates for Internet usage, introduces time-based bundles

Moscow, August 30, 2016. - Aeroflot will reduce the cost of internet access on board and moved to time-based bundles from 1 September, in response to customer demand for more convenient and affordable in-flight internet services.

Thirty-six Aeroflot wide-body aircraft currently offer wi-fi Internet access, and are currently having new software installed to facilitate the introduction of the new rates. Time-based packages are more flexible and clearer, and passengers will be able to create a permanent account, which will add convenience for frequent users

Aeroflot is also reducing the cost of the service twofold, and introducing a Promo rate (initially only on certain routes) that includes 5 MB of traffic free of charge for five minutes.
