Moscow, 27 March, 2015. - Aeroflot resumed traditional «International Chess Tournament Aeroflot Open».
More than 200 players from 30 countries are participating in the 12th Tournament, taking place in Moscow from March 26 to April 6.
Participants are divided into 3 groups A, B and C depending on their level. Group A has very strong competitors: Shahriyar Mammadyarov (Azerbaijan), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia), Ruslan Ponomariov (Ukraine), Richard Rapport (Hungary), Francisco Vallejo (Spain), Ernesto Inarkiev (Russia) and other well-known chess players.
Aeroflot Cup Blitz will be held on April 5. The total prize fund is 140 thousand euros. The winner will be invited to the Tournament under circular rules in Dortmund (June 27, 2015 — July 5, 2015).
