A320 air liners have a more up-to-date airframe design and the most spacious and comfortable cabin among all the narrow-bodied planes. A230 aircrafts are the recognized passengers’ favorites. They are efficient, able to cover a large flying range, they require little maintenance expenses. Among the “Airbus” narrow-bodied planes operated by Aeroflot there are 124-seat A319, 150-seat А320 and 185-seat А321. These liners, distinguishing from each other only by the length of fuselage, have the same design of pilot’s cockpits, the same airborne systems and handling characteristics. Operation of these uniform aircrafts allows the carrier to save considerable funds. The planes from this family are operated by more than 110 airline companies worldwide.
Aeroflot was the first to operate the airbuses in the territory of the CIS and Baltic states. For the earlier acquired and currently operated aircrafts Aeroflot has chosen comfortable two-class cabin layouts, designed for accommodation of 116 (А319), 140 (А320) and 170 (А321) passengers. The airline operates these planes on a wide range of its European and domestic routes.
