October 29, 2010, Moscow. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines acquired its 17th A321 plane manufactured by Airbus. Currently the company’s fleet is made up of 66 А319/320/321 planes.
The aircraft is named “M. KELDYSH” in honor of Mstislav Vsevolodovich Keldysh, a Soviet researcher of mathematics, mechanics, space science and engineering technology, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
The aircraft was acquired through operational leasing agreement signed in 2008 between JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines and Airbus SAS.
All the A320 Family aircrafts are delivered right from the factory. The cabin layout is double-class seating 116 (А319), 140 (А320) и 170 (А321) passengers. Aeroflot utilizes Airbuses of А320 Family on European and domestic flights. Aeroflot is one of the world leaders in terms of performance reliability and factual logged flight hours per one aircraft.
The A321 aircraft is one of the best planes for medium range flights and it complies with all safety, reliability and passenger comfort requirements.
