GASPROMBANK AND AEROFLOT SIGN STRATEGIC COOPERATION AGREEMENT
March 20 2009, Moscow. – Andrey Akimov, Chairman of Management Board of Gasprombank JSC and Valery Okulov, CEO of Aeroflot JSC agreed to develop and implement a Strategic Cooperation Program.
At the Moscow meeting, it was decided to enhance the framework of the mutually advantageous long-term cooperation that Aeroflot and Gaspormbank had established in a number of areas.
Namely, the plan includes an expanded cooperation in air transport services. Gasprombank and the Gasprombank Group members are large-scale customers of complex services in the sphere. Besides, Gasprombank is going to offer participation to its corporate clients, major companies operating in different industry sectors.
The parties have also agreed to implement the joint project for issuing the international “Gasprombank – Aeroflot Bonus” bank cards. Holders of the co-brand cards will be provided with an opportunity to join the customer loyalty program. Bonus miles will be awarded to a customer each time they pay for purchases by the card. A holder having accumulated a certain number of miles can make a bonus flight with Aeroflot or use services of the companies participating in the program. The entirely new feature the project provides is an opportunity to access the information on the customer bonuses amount via Gasprombank’s ATM network.

Aeroflot’s CEO Valery Okulov noted that cooperation between the leaders in the air transport and banking industries must provide a strong synergy effect, which will be vital for both partners especially in the light of the crisis.
