Today is the 15th anniversary of the first flight from Moscow to Samara. During this period the air route Moscow-Samara-Moscow carried over 1.7 million passengers (214 000 passengers and 612 tons of cargo in 2013).
Originally there was one flight to Samara per day operated with Tupolev-154 and Tupolev-134; in 2001 the second flight was inaugurated. Today Aeroflot has 4 daily flights to Samara on comfortable A319/A320/A321. Winter schedule of 2013-2014 will count as much as 5 everyday flights.
