23 August 2019, Moscow. - Aeroflot informs that rallies are planned at Hong Kong Airport on 24 August. The participants are likely to partially block off roads leading to the airport. The airport authority has introduced extra security measures and will check passengers' boarding passes at the entrance. Passenger crowding at the entrance to the airport as well as traffic congestion on the roads are anticipated.
As a result, preflight procedures are likely to take longer. Aeroflot advises passengers flying from Hong Kong on 24 August to take into consideration these temporary special aspects of airport functioning, and arrive for check-in at least three hours before departure.
