2 August 2019, Moscow. – Aeroflot informs that a strike at London-Heathrow airport is scheduled on 5-6 August 2019. The strike is staged by personnel responsible for passenger and luggage security checks. The strike is expected to last up to 48 hours.
On the days of the strike certain flight operations will be restricted. Aeroflot has cancelled SU2582/SU2583 flights on 5 and 6 August to/from Heathrow.
Passengers will be carried by SU2696/2697 flights to/from Gatwick airport as follows:

Please, note that considerable passenger crowding is anticipated at security checkpoints at Heathrow and Gatwick airport departure zones. Preflight security procedures are likely to take longer.
Aeroflot advises passengers flying from London on 5 and 6 August 2019 to arrive early at the airport for check-in – at least four hours before flight departure.
