Experiencing Paris will ignite your joie de vivre. You’ll want to live for as long as possible so that you can come back again and again and watch tourists and fashionistas in the Tuileries Garden, spend hours at museums, take boat rides along the Seine, and of course, have exquisite gastronomical experiences.

The fastest and most convenient way to get to the French capital is to book a direct Moscow-Paris flight. These flights land at the International Charles de Gaulle Airport (a.k.a. Roissy Airport) or at the Paris Orly Airport. A direct flight takes about 4 hours.

Please note that the best deals sell out quickly, so we recommend buying tickets well in advance.

What to see

Paris’s iconic landmark is the Eiffel Tower (tour Eiffel), which was built in 1889 for an international fair. At 324 meters tall, it’s equipped with a lift which will take you to any of the 3 observation decks. You can also ascend to the second level via the stairs. A magnificent panorama awaits from the second and third levels. Tickets can be purchased in advance online  or at the foot of the Tower.

You can enjoy another Parisian view and take a few photos from Montparnasse Tower (tour Montparnasse), as well. Located on the 59th floor of a skyscraper, it is considered to be one of the city’s best viewpoints: only from here can you get a bird’s-eye view of the Eiffel Tower.

In the very centre of the city, on the eastern end of the Island of Paris (Île de la Cité), stands another world-famous Parisian landmark — Notre-Dame Cathedral (Notre-Dame de Paris). The cathedral, a true masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is equally beautiful inside and out.

Also worth visiting is Sainte-Chapelle. Constructed in medieval times, this chapel still awes with its exquisiteness and richness. The ceiling is decorated with frescoes, and its massive windows are made of stained glass.

And of course, let’s not forget the world’s most visited museum of fine arts  – the Louvre (Musée du Louvre). Its colossal art collection features such masterpieces as Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and Alexandros of Antioch’s Venus de Milo.

Another activity you’re sure to enjoy is a stroll down the  Avenue des Champs-Élysées – the longest and most beautiful street in Paris. It is about 2 kilometres long and is lined with boutiques, restaurants and hotels. Champs-Élysées is crowned by the Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile at Charles de Gaulle Square (Square of the Star).

And finally, consider a trip to Disneyland, one of the largest and most famous theme parks in the world, located just outside the city. The rides are open all year round, and you can see a parade of Disney characters every day, as well as an evening Disney Illuminations show.
