Aeroflot: Five Years Of Flight Operation To Min-Vody

Aeroflot – Russian Airlines celebrates five year anniversary of direct flights to Mineralnye Vody. Flight SU785/786 Moscow – Mineralnye Vody has carried over 160 000 passengers and 190 tons of cargo and mail for the period.

The carrier operates a daily service to airport Mineralnye Vody from Sheremetyevo-1 (departure from Moscow 9.15 a.m. – arrival in Min-Vody 11.30 a.m.; departure from Min-Vody 12.50 p.m. – arrival in Moscow 15.20 p.m.). The flight operates TU-134 aircrafts, with 8 seats in business class area and 60 seats in economy class.

The current seasonal service network and flights schedule of Aeroflot provide improved transit, reduced waiting times in terminals Sheremetyevo-1 and Sheremetyevo-2, increasing service for the most popular destinations. Employing the company’s own resources as well as the opportunities of its partners’ networks, Aeroflot offers new services to Europe, America, Asia and Africa via Moscow. The carrier entering the Sky Team carriers alliance and the new Sheremetyevo-3 terminal launched into operation, the passengers will enjoy a wider choice of destinations and a higher quality airport service.

In winter 2005/2006, Aeroflot will operate flights to 45 countries internationally, including 6 CIS countries, landing in 82 airports including 56 airports abroad, 8 in the CIS and 23 in Russia.

Like any other Aeroflot service, flight SU785/786 offers flexible reduced pricing for pensioners and young passengers; in addition, special pricing has been designed to accommodate corporate customers.

Any Aeroflot passenger has an opportunity to order individual type of meals on board depending on their diet or religion (vegetarian, Moslem, low-calories, fat-free, diabetic, oriental, kosher, children’s food).

"Mineralnye Vody is a priority direction for further development of the carrier’s business in Russia", said Yevgeny Bachurin, commercial director of Aeroflot. He pointed out that "the average flight load is 80%, its positive dynamics proving the stable demand for the company’s services in the region".
