Results of activities for June and six months of 2006

July 24, 2006, Moscow - "Aeroflot - Russian Airlines" has summarized the result of the activities of the company for June and six months of 2006.

In June 2006 the aviation company delivered 664,0 thousand of passengers (including 3.1 thousand by charter flights) and 12.3 thousand tones of mail and cargo loads. The company accomplished 1 billion 994 million of passenger/kilometers and 254.2 million of tones/kilometers.

Percentage of commercial load was 58.0 %, which is 0.2% higher than the same for the previous year. Percentage of the use of passengers' seats is 70.9 %, which is 1.1% higher than the same for the previous year. In comparison with the same period of the year 2005 the volume of work was: in terms of passengers' turnover - 105,6,0% (+106,5 million passenger/km), in terms of tones/km parameter - 105,3% (+12,9 million tones/km), in terms of passenger conveyance - 106,6% (+41,4 thousand passengers), in terms of cargo conveyance - 98,3% (-207,8 tones), in terms of mail conveyance - 89,2% (-41,0 tones).

For six months of 2006 Aeroflot delivered 3 million 197 thousand of passengers and 66.8 thousand tones of mail and cargo loads, accomplished 9 billion 883 million of passengers/kilometers and 1 billion 297 million of tones/kilometers.

Percentage of the use of the passengers' seats was 68.4 %, percentage of commercial load was 56.9 %.

In comparison with the similar period of the year 2005 the volume of works has increased in all terms, exce pt for mail and cargo loads delivery and corresponding figures comprise: for passengers' turnover - 101.5 % (+144.0 million passenger/kilometers), for passengers' conveyance - 104.0 % (+123.5 thousand passengers), for tones/kilometers - 100.4 % (+4.8 million tones/kilometers), for mail transportation - 92.3 % (-175.6 tones), for cargo loads transportation - 91.8 % (- 5773.6 tones).

Actual flying time for all aircraft types has increased by 0.9% (+1133 hours) in comparison with 2005.
