Aeroflot summed up its financial results for 2003 according to International Standarts

According to results of 2003 Aeroflot-Russian Airlines net income increased by 41.8 per cent in comparison with the last year and amounted to 126.7 million US dollars (in 2002 – 89.3 million US dollars) according to international accounting standards (IAS).

Aeroflot revenues for 2003 amounted to 1716 million US dollars compared with 1563 million US dollars in 2002.

Net income before taxes was 158 million US dollars compared with 132.9 million US dollars in 2002. Net income per a stock rose from 0.080 US dollars in 2002 up to 0.114 US dollars in 2003.

Aeroflot-Russian Airlines is the largest Russian airline company. The state owns 51 per cent of stocks. The company controls about 11 per cent of home and 39 per cent of international market of air carriages in Russia. The aircraft fleet has 92 airliners. In 2003 Aeroflot transported 5.9 million passengers.
