SkyTeam Gives the Gift of Discounted Round the World Travel

AMSTERDAM, December 15, 2016 – SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, is giving the gift of travel this season by offering customers a 15% discount off their Round the World trip. The promotional fare is available for both economy and business class tickets of up to 26,000 miles purchased between now and March 31, 2017.

The discounted SkyTeam Round the World fare is valid on all 20 member airlines across a comprehensive network of 1,062 destinations. Customers can book their travel using SkyTeam’s easy-to-use Round the World Planner or can select one of the alliance’s new Round the World themed itineraries that include: Beach Vacations, History & Culture, World Metropolis, Natural World and Wines of the World. Fares include from three to five stops and are valid from 10 days to six months.

“Whether exploring new cities or going off the beaten track in multiple regions of the world, only an airline alliance can provide such choices and options enabling customers to make their dream Round the World trip a reality for less,” said Edward Hollo, SkyTeam’s Manager for Commercial Development. “Alliance branded Round the World fares offer a better value for money than buying multiple tickets and also provide much needed convenience during travels.”

SkyTeam is the leading alliance in Greater China, Russia, Mexico and North America, with comprehensive networks across Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific, giving globetrotters greater flexibility to plan their ideal itinerary. The alliance also offers routes not served by other alliances including: Mexico City to Tokyo and Shanghai; Nairobi to Seoul and Guangzhou; Accra to New York-JFK; and Moscow to Cancun.
