Aeroflot Changes Inflight Magazine Editor

From the first of February Aeroflot starts cooperation with new editor of the official inflight magazine of the air carrier.

“SPN” publishing house has gained the right for publishing official onboard magazines. In order to increase OJSC Aeroflot revenues of magazine edition, procedure of “Invitation for offerings regarding inflight magazine edition” took place in the company last autumn. The newly established Committee studied offers from domestic and foreign publishing houses operating in Russia. This resulted in decision to conclude an agreement for edition of our magazines with “SPN” publishing house. The financial model suggested by the company will enable to multiply our revenues, it is a profitable project for the air carrier”, said Lev Koshlyakov, Deputy General Manager of Aeroflot.

Change of the magazine’s editor will not influence its concept, publication frequency and distribution system. However some particular changes will be introduced into presentation techniques and appearance of materials, as well as the edition structure itself. The key target is to publish a magazine entertaining a passenger during the flight, enabling the company to obtain sustainable revenue and completely matching Aeroflot image of an up-to-date and dynamic company.
