Moscow, March 13th, 2008: - JSC „Aeroflot Russian Airlines“ takes off with its new website. Already 10 years ago Aeroflot was among the first Russian airlines to have its own appearance on the internet. The website has been updated every two years since and accustomed to user’s demands in terms of design and structure. It has been awarded several times in Russian and international contests. The new website has been relaunched on time for the 85th anniversary festivities. Design as well as structure has been developed by the Austrian advertising agency DT Trend.
The relaunch’s main goal has been the improvement of usability in the context of the implementation of new technologies: online booking and the electronic ticket. A conference attended by users and Aeroflot’s company management has been held on the internet. Its results together with customer’s requests were accounted for in the creation of the new website.
Everything from online booking to credit card payment has been made easier to use and more clearly arranged due to restructuring. Not only the new design but also the structure and navigation on the website allow for easy and comfortable use. In the course of redesigning a corporate site has been created which will be available to partners and journalists in the near future.
Recently data volume has increased multiple times not least due to the incorporation of subsites. Information on subsidiaries, SkyTeam alliance membership and the soon to be opened Sheremetyevo-3 Terminal can also be accessed through the website.
Access to sites of foreign countries (29 countries at the moment) enables to obtain information about special offers as well as activities of Representations abroad. Websites to 19 countries more are in preparation already.
