REPORT OF JSC AEROFLOT BOARD OF DIRECTORS

July 7 2009, Moscow – Today JSC Aeroflot has held the annual general meeting of its stockholders chaired by the Transport Minister Igor Levitin.

The Board has approved the new organisational structure of Aeroflot JSC, and the members of the Company’s Executive Board. The new structure suggests the reduction of Deputy CEOs from 13 to 9.

The Board appointed Deputies CEO:
Antonov, Vladimir Nikolayevich – 1st Deputy CEO for production;
Budayev, Kirill Stanislavovich – Deputy CEO for strategic and corporate development;
Bushlanov, Konstantin Mikhaylovich – Deputy CEO for personnel management;
Gerasimov, Vladimir Vladislavovich – Deputy CEO for procurement and maintenance;
Zingman, Vadim Yakovlevich – Deputy CEO for customer management;
Kiryushin, Sergey Yevgenyevich – Deputy CEO for IT;

The optimized Company’s structure is aimed to promote management efficiency and more rational resource employment. The Board of Directors has appointed three committies.

The Board of Directors has approved the Company’s participation in the preparation and organization of XXII Winter Olympic Games 2014 in Sochi under Agreement on Intent and the successive Partnership Agreement between Aeroflot JSC and the Organizational Committee “Sochi 2014”.

Aeroflot complies with the highest international safety standards. Following the results of the International Air Transport Association’s Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), the company has become the first Russian carrier to be included in the IOSA Registry. In 2007, Aeroflot confirmed the certificate in compliance with the new, a more strict regulation version. Since March 2008, the company’s Quality Management System has been certified as complying with ISO 9001:2000.
