Aeroflot To Discontinue Flights To And From Egypt Effective 1 December 2015

Moscow, 13 November 2015. — In connection with the Federal Air Transportation Agency’s decision to ban all flights to the Arab Republic of Egypt, effective 6 November 2015 Aeroflot is carrying passengers in one direction only: from Egypt to the Russian Federation. Aeroflot plans a staged reduction in its service from Egypt to Moscow; effective 1 December 2015 the airline will temporarily discontinue all service through the end of the Winter Schedule (27 March 2016).

Effective 14 November 2015 the following flights will be cancelled:

SU 5901 Hurghada to Domodedovo airport

SU 5903 Sharm El-Sheikh to Domodedovo airport

Passengers booked on these flights will be carried on flights SU 5911 and SU 5913, which arrive at Sheremetyevo airport.

SU 5911 Hurghada to Sheremetyevo airport will operate on November 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 28 and 29. Effective 30 November the flight will be cancelled and Aeroflot Group will temporarily cease service to/from Hurghada.

SU 5913 Sharm El-Sheikh to Sheremetyevo airport will operate on November 18, 21, 22, 24, 27 and 30. Effective 1 December the flight will be cancelled and Aeroflot Group will temporarily cease service to/from Sharm El-Sheikh.

Aeroflot Group airline OrenAir is the operator of the above-mentioned flights, under the commercial management of Aeroflot.

Effective 18 November 2015 Aeroflot — Russian Airlines service to/from Cairo will be discontinued.

Aeroflot recommends that passengers currently in Egypt who hold tickets for travel to Russia after the dates service will be discontinued contact their airline to move up their departure dates for the earlier flights aboard Aeroflot Group flights. Other passengers holding tickets should cancel their trip and redeem tickets for a full refund.

Tickets can be cancelled or dates moved up without the payment of any fees or service charges. Funds will be returned without penalty at the location the ticket was purchased.

Flights booked online are eligible for refunds at any Aeroflot representative office in Russia or abroad. Flights purchased in an Aeroflot sales office in Russia can be refunded at any Aeroflot sales office across the country.
