Aroflot starts operating new A330 "Fyodor Tyutchev"

 

April 14 2010, Moscow. –  
The А330-300 aircraft have flying range of up to 10,500 km, can accommodate 302 passengers and are used by leading international carriers in the long-haul segment. The aircraft are equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 772B engines.

The new airliners are delivered to Aeroflot on a two-class layout with 34 business-class and 268 economy-class seats. The aircraft have the cutting-edge Panasonic eX 2 IFE system with wide-screen 9-16’’ video-monitors in each armchair, allowing the use of a multi-channel video-audio program. The business class compartment has comfortable folding ‘cocoon’ armchairs. The economy-class compartment has increased seat pitch for more comfortable accommodation of passengers.

Aeroflot operates А330s on both domestic and international routes.

Currently, A330s fly to Beijing, Havana, Vladivostok, Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and New York.
