Aeroflot suspends flights from Vladivostok and Khabarovsk to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

 

April 15 2010, Moscow. – JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has suspended flights Vladivostok - Khabarovsk – Vladivostok, Khabarovsk/Vladivostok – Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Khabarovsk/Vladivostok, and Vladivostok/Khabarovsk – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Vladivostok/Khabarovsk, under its route network optimization program run by the company due to taking over aviation assets of SC Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii), and in order to prevent internal competition.

These flights will be transferred to the air carrier Vladivostokavia without any discrimination of passengers’ interests. The disengaged aircraft will be used by Aeroflot to increase flight frequency on its other routes.

The company guarantees delivery to the destination point to all ticketed passengers of Aeroflot’s cancelled flights. The passengers will be handled by partner airlines at no extra charges.
