December 23, 2014, Moscow. – Aeroflot launches a special application for iPad and an updated version of application for iPhone that are intended for Aeroflot clients and provide additional conveniences to Aeroflot Bonus frequent flyer program members.
For the first time the application maintains TouchID (fingerprint authentication technology) for the safety access to Aeroflot Bonus account.
Due to the large-screen opportunities sections “Book a ticket”, “Flight Information” and “Contacts” have been fully updated. These sections have new functions – now it displays both – search results and search parameters on a single screen and use additional filters that allow working in application without unnecessary transfers.
Now sections “Special Offers” and “Mileage Calculator” have their own search interface and new identity. Information pages with such kind of content as baggage, animal transportation, class service, etc. became available even with no connection to the Internet.
“My Account” section was also significantly updated – now it gathers in one place all necessary information about Aeroflot Bonus program and other services allowing to view bookings or to send information for retro mileage accrual.
Aeroflot focuses on the introduction of innovative IT-solutions in all areas of its activity. The latest technologies are in priority in the airline development plan for 2015.
