Aeroflot Travel Kits Win International Travelplus Airline Amenity Bag Awards

April 16, 2014, Moscow. — The fourth annual international Travelplus Airline Amenity Bag Awards have taken place in Hamburg. Aeroflot travel kits received prizes in two categories.

Aeroflot amenity bags for business-class passengers on flights from 3 to 6 hours, and flights over 6 hours won Gold in Best Unisex Bag (Europe-Africa) category where the Russian carrier competed with such esteemed peers as Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, and Kenya Airlines. Kits for medium-haul flights include cosmetic bag and sleep mask with the original pattern of XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi, slippers, earplugs, shoehorn, souvenir ballpoint pen, Do Not Disturb/Wake Me for Meals sticker and handkerchiefs Long-haul (over 6 hours) flights kits include cosmetic bag with the symbols of the Sochi Olympics, slippers, sleep mask, earplugs, shoehorn, souvenir ballpoint pen, Do Not Disturb/Wake Me for Meals sticker, handkerchiefs , toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as face and hands moisturizers from the luxury brand L’Occitaine.

Awards for Best Children Amenity Bags were given to Aeroflot and Emirates. Aeroflot travel kit, available on flights from Moscow, was recognized as the most recommended amenity bag for children up to 6 years. It includes fox face hat and mitten much admired by young travelers, as well as set of pencils, eraser corrector pen, board game and magazine. This year a children’s sleep mask with symbols of the Sochi Olympics was included into amenity bag as a compliment.

Aeroflot is the first Russian airline to win Travelplus Airline Amenity Bag Awards. Prizes in various categories recognized the established carriers like Emirates, Etihad, Singapore Airlines. This proves once more that Aeroflot is the best airline in Europe and among the world leaders in terms of service level.
