Aeroflot Hosts European Volleyball Cups

November 29, 2013, Moscow. — Today the central sales office of Aeroflot on Arbat Street in Moscow hosted European Cups won by the women’s and men’s volleyball teams of Russia. These sports awards of international value were provided by Aeroflot’s partner, Russian Volleyball Federation.

The event included a photo shoot organized in the office of Russia’s leading airline. All visitors were given an opportunity to be photographed with volleyball trophies. The photo sessions was also attended by the winners of a competition organized by Aeroflot and Russian Volleyball Federation in social networks. For three days, the subscribers of Aeroflot’s official Facebook page had been answering the questions of a special quiz. The winner of the quiz got the main prize — the Airbus A330 model and the accreditation card of «VIP- guest» for all matches of the Cup of Russia in 2013 as well as of 2014 Russian volleyball championship.

Supporting sports and sports movement is one of Aeroflot’s traditional activities. The flag carrier actively encourages the development of domestic sports teams and supports major events in international sports, including sponsoring the Volleyball Federation of Russia for several years.

In addition, Aeroflot is the official sponsor and carrier of CSKA professional football club, the General Partner of the XXII Olympic and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi, the Official Partner and the Official Carrier of the Russia national football team.
