Aeroflot extends image promotion campaign until 31 March 2011

March 1, 2011, Moscow. - Aeroflot extends the image promotion campaign for the passengers whose flights from Sheremetyevo airport were delayed on December 25-28, 2010 due to ice rain. The campaign is extended until March 31 at the requests of many passengers who failed to obtain certificates for the services offered by Aeroflot.

As part of the campaign, beginning January 13, 2011, Aeroflot has already granted over 4,000 certificates worth in total over 2 mln USD. The average cost of a certificate is 15,000 rubles.

As was reported earlier, personal certificates were granted, as part of the campaign, to those airline customers whose flights were delayed in December by more than eight hours. The eligible passenger can obtain the certificate at any sales office or representative office of JSC ‘Aeroflot’ having submitted the boarding pass and a copy of the passenger’ passport. The voucher total corresponds to the fare for the travel segment from Moscow:

  • in case of one-way tickets, to the paid fare from Moscow;
  • for return tickets, to the fare from Moscow.

This amount can also be used to purchase a ticket in the future or to pay for excess baggage up to 31 December 2011.

For more information about the procedure for obtaining the certificates please contact the Call center (tel. (495)223 5555 or 8(800) 333 5555) or visit the Aeroflot Web site www.aeroflot.ru. If the boarding pass is lost, send a request to the Director of the Quality Management and Customer Relations Control Department (10 Arbat street, Moscow, 119002 Russia).
