In the last year, aircraft safety factor reached 99.967%, which is 0.012% higher than in 2008. Such a flight safety indicator was achieved owing to significantly fewer incidents qualified as “Complex Situation”, and zero number of accidents. The number of incidents resulting from aviation equipment failure remained on the level of 2008, and was 1.8 times lower compared to 2004’s figures. Aeroflot’s SAFA ratio based on 139 checks improved by 0.3 compared to 2008, and amounted to 0.38.
