Aeroflot Bonus SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart
Effective as of April, 14, 2006
Award tickets on SkyTeam flights are issued according to the Aeroflot Bonus SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart.
SkyTeam Awards include economy and business class Award tickets on SkyTeam flights. Award upgrades on SkyTeam flights are allowed. SkyTeam Award transfer is permitted according to the Aeroflot Bonus programme rules.
SkyTeam Award rules:
- Award tickets can be issued only at Aeroflot ticket offices in Moscow or at other Aeroflot offices.
- Award tickets are limited to round-trip journeys only. One-way award tickets are not permitted. Stopover is not allowed.
- SkyTeam Awards can be issued for economy or business class tickets only.
- To obtain an award ticket on Continental Airlines flights to/from North and Central America to Russia and Europe in business class, you will need the quantity of miles as for a first-class ticket (marked in the SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart).
- The award zones and the quantity of miles for an award are determined by the origin and final destination of the trip, regardless of the number of connections. For example, the route Vladivostok-Moscow-Vienna-Paris-Vienna-Moscow-Vladivostok earns miles from the zone Russia 4 (Vladivostok) to the zone Europe 3 (Paris).
- The most direct and shortest way must be used for travel; backtracking except for connections is not allowed. For example, transportation from Europe 2 to Africa should be made directly (for example, on AirFrance flights), without segments to/from Russia or to/from Asia.
- The maximum number of segments (coupons) for one award ticket is 8.
- Award tickets to/from America (North, Central, Latin and South) to Asia and Australia are available only across the Pacific Ocean.
-
The SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart can be used for award tickets only on Aeroflot flights.
For example, according to the SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart, an economy class award ticket for the route Vladivostok-Moscow-Paris-Moscow-Vladivostok (from zone Russia 4 to zone Europe 3) requires 110000 miles. In this case, 90000 miles are required: 60000 miles (from Russia 4 to Moscow) plus 30000 miles (from Moscow to Europe 3).
For direct Aeroflot flights without connections, the Award Table for Aeroflot flights from/to Moscow is used. For example, for an award ticket on the route Moscow — Vienna — Moscow requires 25000 miles. At the same time, according to the SkyTeam Multicarrier Award Chart, 30000 miles are required for the trip from zone Russia 1 to zone Europe 2.
