Winner of international SkyTrax World Airline Awards in the category
In 2013 Aeroflot got its second SkyTrax World Airline Awards. More than 200 airline companies annually take part in World Airline Awards in different categories. Award giving is based on product value. The product is valued in different categories in all service classes by online voting. More than 18 mln travelers from 160 countries take part in the survey to determine the award winners.
Aeroflot became a winner of popular vote “Customer’s Choice – 2013”, which took place in terms of the IV annual award “Customers’ rights and service quality”. The company got a prestigious award in “Retail service” category.
According to prestigious “Airline Business” magazine, Aeroflot entered the top five European airlines by overall passenger traffic and its’ growth rate in 2012. And also entered the top ten of European airlines by passenger load factor. The airline got 8thplace with 77,9%.
Athens International Airport award winner in “The fastest growing Eastern European airline” category. Winners in the category were rated by passenger traffic to the capital of Greece in 2012.
Airline’s Twitter won “Digital Communications AWARDS - 2013” in “Best brand’s twitter page” category.
Aeroflot - winner of the "Absolute brand - 2012" for the most expensive aviabrend worth over a billion dollars. Aeroflot brand - one of the most famous, not only in Russia but also abroad, and is in the top 20 most valuable brands in the world's airlines.
Aeroflot was the best Russian airline according to the most prestigious award in the field of tourism - "Readers' Choice Condé Nast Traveller". The award is given for more than ten years and is a world-renowned tourist "Oscar." Nominees and winners are selected not by professional travelers or editorial staff and readers directly. Due to the continuous improvement of the service and the constant introduction of new technologies on-board and ground services Aeroflot deservedly one of the best premium companies in Europe.
According to the research results of “In Sites Consulting” Aeroflot has received the highest marks of passengers in the categories "Pre-flight service (check-in)" and "Service on board". The survey was conducted from October 2011 to March 2012 among passengers of Sky Team alliance airlines . 70% of passengers evaluate registration on flights with a perfect score. 57% of respondents have put scores of "9" and "10", evaluating the service on board. These indicators promoted Aeroflot to the first place among 15 airlines of Sky Team alliance.
Aeroflot group of companies won a national aviation award “Wings of Russia” in main categories. “Orenburg Airlines” (Oren Air) won in “Charter airline of the year” category. “Sakhalinskie Aviatrassy” won in “Domestic airline of the year in group 4” category.

Aeroflot becomes a winner in the “Best airline for CIS and Russian destinations” category for the tenth time and in the “Best airline for North American destinations” category for the fifth time.

According to the survey carried out by the ROMIR Group of Companies, Aeroflot has joint the top ten brands which are most recognizable and respected by the citizens of the Russian Federation.
Aeroflot secured the top place among European companies - SkyTeam members – in servicing of economy class passengers on short and medium-length routes, as well as business class passengers on long routes, according to the results of “Onboard Survey” conducted by SkyTeam . Aeroflot was the leader in all elements of onboard servicing: boarding, cabin comfort, servicing by flight attendants, food, press, and video system in the business class.
Aeroflot is the winner of the national public prize of the transportation sector of Russia, “Zolotaya Kolesnitsa” (The Golden Waggon), in the “Leader of air transportation in Russia” nomination.
In accordance with the IATA requirements all the airlines — IATA members, have to pass the IOSA auditing. The companies, having passed the tests, are included into the register of the IOSA Operators.
Aeroflot is the first among Russian Air Carriers to have successfully passed the International Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and to be registered as the IOSA Operator.
