1929
In May tests of the first multi-seat passenger plane ANT-9, constructed by the Tupolev Design Bureau, were completed.
On July 10, by Decree of the USSR General Executive Committee, the flag of the USSR Civil Air Fleet was introduced.
On November 2 S. The ANT-4 “Country of the Soviets” aircraft, commanded by Shestakov, made a flight on the Moscow — New York route.
On December 10 the Main Inspection of the USSR Civil Air Fleet was established.
1928
In October Russia`s ANT-3, U-2 and К-4 aircraft were shown for the first time at an international aviation exhibition in Berlin.
