Special baggage

Skis and snow boards

Skiing outfit set shall include one pair of skies, poles and boots and shall be carried free of charge provided that total weight of the baggage you carry including the skiing outfit does not exceed free baggage allowance on this particular route.
If the maximum weight of the skiing outfit (skies or snow board, poles, boots) does not exceed 15 kg and the free baggage allowance is exceeded then one set of the outfit is charged as 3 kg of excess weight or by actual weight (whichever is less); the actual excess weight of baggage piece / pieces to be checked-in is charged too.
If your outfit weight exceeds 15 kg each additional kilogram shall be charged under applicable excess baggage tariff on this particular route.*

Water skis, windsurfing boards

Are carried free of charge provided the total weight of your baggage including your water sports outfit does not exceed applicable free baggage allowance on this particular route. If the maximum weight of the water sports  outfit (skis or windsurfing board) does not exceed 15 kg and the free baggage allowance is exceeded then one set of the outfit is charged as 3 kg of excess weight or by actual weight (whichever is less); the actual excess weight of baggage piece / pieces to be checked-in is charged too.
If your outfit weight exceeds 15 kg each additional kilogram shall be charged under applicable excess baggage tariff on this particular route.*

Golf articles

Are carried free of charge provided the total weight of your baggage including your golf articles does not exceed applicable free baggage allowance on this particular route. If the maximum weight of the water sports  outfit (skis or windsurfing board) does not exceed 15 kg and the free baggage allowance is exceeded then one set of the outfit is charged as 6 kg of excess weight or by actual weight (whichever is less); the actual excess weight of baggage piece / pieces to be checked-in is charged too.
If your outfit weight exceeds 15 kg each additional kilogram shall be charged under applicable excess baggage tariff on this particular route.*

Bicycle

Bicycles shall be accepted for carriage upon preliminary agreement with the carrier. It shall be carried free of charge if the total weight of your baggage including the weight of the bicycle does not exceed free baggage allowance on this particular route.

Skateboards / roller and hockey skates

Skateboards, roller and hockey skates are accepted for carriage without preliminary agreement of the carrier. These articles shall be carried free of charge if the total weight of your baggage including the weight thereof does not exceed free baggage allowance on this particular route.

Hockey sticks and vaulting poles

Carriage of hockey sticks and vaulting poles is not included into free baggage allowance and is charged according to oversize baggage tariffs established in each of two relevant baggage carriage systems.     

Baby Carriage

Baby carriages (including umbrella-type carriages) are to be transported in a baggage compartment. Carriages are carried free of charge as excess baggage

You are welcome to use a baby carriage in the airport before boarding. Once the boarding announced you are kindly asked to pass a baby carriage to airport’s staff to be loaded into an aircraft baggage compartment.

Musical instruments

Transportation of musical instruments is carried out both in a luggage space, and in passenger interior. By transportation musical instruments in passenger interior rules of transportation are applied to the luggage transported in a passenger armchair.

Wheelchairs

Are carried free of charge as excess baggage.

• Wheelchairs with dry-charged batteries are transported in baggage compartment subject to the battery is disconnected, battery clamp is insulated to avoid sudden short-circuit; battery is safely fixed on the chair.

• Wheelchairs with helium type batteries can be transported without battery disconnection subject to the battery clamp is insulated.

• Wheelchairs with electrolyte batteries are transported in baggage compartment subject to the battery is disconnected, battery clamp is insulated, battery is packed in container with absorbing material and marked properly.

Baggage on a separate seat in the cabin

Baggage requiring special norms of transportation (fragile or valuable things) is allowed for transportation in the cabin if:

• passenger has coordinated such a service with the air company beforehand

• baggage has been specially checked for air safety

If the baggage dimensions are big a passenger has to pay for a separate seat according to passenger tariff (in this case cost for over-sized baggage is not charged). The total baggage weight should not exceed 75 kg, and its dimensions should not exceed dimensions of a passenger seat.

Such baggage is placed in a seat by cabin window and fixed with a belt. Baggage requiring special norms of transportation and transported in the cabin is  checked-in. Passenger is liable for its safety. Baggage transported in the cabin should be packed to avoid damage of the cabin equipment during transportation.

Oversized baggage

• Passenger baggage in three measurements should not exceed 158 cm and weight not exceed 32 kg.

• In exceptional cases baggage weighing from 32 to 50 kg with the sum of three dimensions up to 203 cm can be accepted for transportation. However transportation of such baggage should be coordinated with the carrier beforehand

• In case of absence of preliminary confirmation the carrier is entitled to deny transportation of over-size and heavy baggage.

• Items with the volume over 203 cubic cm and weight over 50 kg are accepted for transportation only as a cargo.

*The above rules are only applicable to payments for one set of outfit per passenger, and only on the routes where baggage weight carriage systems is used.
On the routes where baggage piece number carriage system is used, special conditions of sporting outfit carriage are applied to skiing outfit only.
