Free baggage allowance
All your baggage, including a single piece of hand luggage that you may wish to take into the passenger cabin, has to be shown to our Check-in staff. This is required for safety reasons.
Before Check-in please put a name and address tag on each piece of your baggage. (all written with Latin letters to help identification by non-Russian speakers).
Your free baggage allowance depends on your flight destinations and service class. Any baggage that is accepted for carriage by Aeroflot will be marked from check-in staff and is called checked. Please take care of your baggage receipts which you will need in case of delay or baggage loss.
Weight concept (on all flight except transatlantic flights)
In this concpet your free baggage allowance is measured by weight. The allowances established by Aeroflot for adults and children aged 2+ match world standards.

The overall dimensions of each piece of luggage for all classes of service must not exceed 158 cm (for children under the age of 2yrs. 115 cm).Please note that the weight of the articles may not be averaged out. This means that, should any of the articles exceed 32kg (Business Class) or 23 kg (Economy Class), an extra charge will be incurred for excess weight - even if another article weighs less than 32kg (23 kg in the Economy Class).

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires you to provide your full name, date of birth, and gender for the purpose of watch list screening, You may also provide your Redress Number, is available. Failure to provide your full name, date of birth, and gender may result in denial of transport or denial of authority to enter the boarding area. Aeroflot is qualified to change the free baggage allowance on some routes for certain periods. Minimum free baggage allowance is 10kg. The baggage limitations may be enforced due to the conditions printed in the ticket.
